I think this is actually my first animal portrait!
But the dog was more like painting a teddy bear! A friend uploaded a picture of his new Golden Retriever puppy online, and I couldn't resist painting her! So thank you to Daniel for this inspiration! Again, I have several titles for this piece, but have decided to go for the most simplistic. This, predictably, may change!

EDIT: For those who dont know, my own puppy boarder collie ripped the edges of this canvas board to shreads for fun. Luckily, I have sculpta-putty, so was able to patch it up in a very improvised way! However, it is going to make framing an issue!
