Well i've done liszt and beethoven, and i couldnt leave chopin out so i spontaneously decided to go and paint him one night.

The original is by Delacroix, but i was going for a rougher approach. Hope you enjoy! (But not enough to steal!)

It's an excellent rendition of Delacroix. I remember reading that this specific portrait was never finished. Such a pity, it was so beautifully crafted. One of my favorite pieces of work, of one of my favorite people in history.

no, im not familiar with it, but i'll trudge myself through. Im sure its great, you have a knack for bringing out the character to tell the story anyway :D ill check it out as soon as i have a minute to spare!

really?! I never knew it wasn't finished! i thought he had intended to reveal the 'basis' of his style... i never really liked the original painting t begin with, but there are certain parts which i forced myself to like through painting it! I'm so glad you like it!
